Ugh, getting to be the time of the year where seeing blue sky is limited.  No sitting out on the porch sunning myself and reading, no pleasant walks in the sun.  There is too much grey and overcast and I am liking it less and less as the years go by. 

But this gives me food for thought.  A lot of the time lately has been spent in the thinking through of the mechanics of retirement.  Like it or not, the mild winters west of the cascades is a big draw, even when one considers the gloom.  There are a lot of out of the way places to retreat to, there is good water supplies.  I can't take this area out of the running.  East of the cascades does offer lower population densities and blue skies in the winter, but more difficult access to water and harsh winters are a bit of an issue.

I am not really liking the impeachment thing.  The fuckwad needs to be voted out of office in an election, not run through some kangaroo court presided over by angry losers. 

The fuckwad is a shit President.  But the democrats are opening up a can of worms here.  If they think that they can sleazily "control the narrative" to elect one of the current passengers of the clown car that they call a "candidate field, I think that they are in for a surprise.  What is happening is one of the parties is deliberately trying to cripple to operation of government in order to satisfy the end result of an extended fit of pique.  

Look, I cannot for even a moment state that the Republicans are an iota less idiotic than the Democrats.  I can say that they have been a bit more circumspect lately since their salad days under the shrub. But truthfully, that is probably a cynical two-facteted ploy to give the Dem's enough rope to hang themselves by beating up Trump (who they have never particularly cared for).
