On the Train

Not too much in the way of thought today.  Woke up early to get going and get out early.  Suceeded adequately but not admirably.  Such is life.  Pass/Fail is how I evaluate my life and today was, in the end, good enough.

On the train, and as always, camped out in the bar car enjoying some relaxation and overpriced beer and pretzels.  Going to be some hours on the road.  Thought that I would jot down a post and then relax some.  Amtrak tends to board early.  Got no problem with that.  Eldest is sitting in the reserved seats, reading and doing his thing.  Travelling with him is pretty low key, 

Carl has attempted to lure  Gabe and I into eating a bar car burger.  Well uckaroo, my Mama raised ugly children, not stupid ones
