Summer is moving along smartly here, though the Oregon summer can be a little wetter than what I grew up with, the cooler temperatures are not unwelcome.  Tomato plants are looking good and I just bought one of those itty-bitty gas grills that Weber makes so that I can eat charred meat.  Salad and BBQ are the optimal way to get through summer

Today's Screed

Kinda feel like I am waiting for a shoe to drop.  This feeling seems to cross all the aspects of my life.  Now, this isn't a complaint as, over the years, I have developed some pretty damn fine waiting skills.

But I am kinda curious how all this will shake out.  I have a lot of problems just letting things play out.  I usually try really to control outcomes, to plan and direct.  I have a sneaking hunch that that kind of thing just ain't on the menu.  I made the decision ten years back to drift and let the world take me, but a big part of me still rails against the consequences of that decision
