Diary: Non-Ambition
Aug. 21st, 2025 03:44 pmOne of the things that you put aside when you retire is ambition. Oh, you never get rid of the damn thing completely, but you do get it beaten down into a manageable beast that sullenly dwells in my hindbrain.
For some reason, mine is acting out today, I just can't figure out what it wants me to do.

Date: 2025-08-22 08:45 am (UTC)ANYway, I tell myself I have to do two things (i.e., go out of the apartment twice) each day. Most days Stanley takes care of my assignment and that takes most of my energy. Today is a one-dog-walk day, so I am of course at the same time enjoying that luxury AND feeling guilty about not having another thing planned. But I have only walked about 5400 of the 7000 steps I set for my daily goal.
I should get up from the Chromebook and go buy bread or something.
