Going through old pictures.  Need to get out to expand folio

 

 

Temperature is grazing the freezing point of water.  High clouds and no appreciable wind.  Barometer is oozing upward (barely above thirty) I will need to get out for a brisk waddle sometime today. 

I suppose that I should be concerned that Musk's Minions (maybe I should trademark?) are rooting around in the guts of the federal government's payment systems.  After all, and for the purpose of full disclosure, my continued independent poverty is funded from the money machine.  But while I occasionally fret about the worst case, my miniscule tap on federal funds while not invulnerable, if put in the crosshairs, means that if it is in some scenario taken or reduced, we are in some serious shit and I will probably be classed as a "causality". 

Some of my favorite music is R&B/Motown.  War and the Temptations are memories that don't go away and for that I glad.  War has a great song "Why Can't We Be Friends", where some of the lyrics are:

So, while I am dependent on the federal government tit, I am not opposed to someone looking at the books and showing them to our unwashed asses.  I am not going to claim for a moment the "right" of Karens to "talk to the manager", but I most certainly have no problem with the manager openly going through things and giving the customers a tour.

Look, we live in a land of 1,600 page omnibus spending bills that the people who vote and approve of aren't allowed to read the whole damn thing.
