Coming to Conclusions

degringoladeJust finished my coffee and I am looking out the window at a grey day. Since it has been beautiful here lately, the grey doesn't bug me too much. My vitamin D level is up and I am oddly content.
I have come to the conclusion that the zeitgeist of the times is simply desperation. That is why everyone is crazy. The world that all of us have gotten used to seems to be coming apart at the seams. The governments and their spokesmodels are working overtime to assure us that all is well, but the message doesn't seem to be taking.
I can't say that I see the problems facing us getting better anytime soon. Doesn't mean the end of the world is coming, but the comforts we have come to think of as rights will continue to be eroded.
