Well, wish me luck.  I just posted my one and only advert for the book that I am writing online.  Right now I am working on chapter ten. 

Being retired has it's benefits, I now actually have time for sitting down and flailing and just trying to get words down on paper.  I think that I have my methods worked out, now it just comes down to the discipline of writing every day on an extended subject.

I suppose that this diary that I have been writing for the past sixteen years has primed me for this.  I actually get a bit of intellectual constipation if I don't write something every day. 

So, my few gentle readers. I will keep this diary a-goin' but I will also be posting chapters over at:
