Gotta gut through today, then I’ll start on the old geezer projects that need to get done.  

Gonna spend a lot of time a pondering.  I think that I might need to go back to casting the I Ching every day to start getting my head back together.  

This last fifteen months of consummate stupidity and over-reach blew the hell out of my advancement toward diving into my navel and achieving nirvana.  Had to dust off the Aspergers and let that run loose in order to get everything done and things happening.   But now that things are calming down and the truth of the matter is slipping out (I won’t say I told you so) I can back away from the day to day and re-start things.

We ain’t there yet, but a great deal of the foofooraw about a middling annoying retrovirus is starting to come out.  Folks are coming to the conclusion that “trusting the science” is a lot harder than what it seems and in no way should be translated into “trusting the scientist”.  

Now, before you think that I am channeling Alex Jones or one of the other marginally sane folks on the other side of the shouting match, nothing could be farther from the truth.  There will be a third resurgence of the virus when the cold and flu season come around in autumn, there will be old folks a’ droppin’ again when it blows through nursing homes.  There will be some immunocompromised types getting really sick.  But I think that the PCR test will be looked at a lot differently and the number of cycles will be turned down to a rational level.  I think that treatments will be refined and effective “conspiracy theory” off label treatments will be allowed to take their place in the treatment regimens.  I am hoping that the media will find something else to focus on that they are qualified to assess and report upon (watch out Kim Kardassian).

Nope.  I am hoping for a normal summer this year while folks try to restore their lives to something that will work in this brave new world
