Saturday morning and I am actually rested with enough sleep.  My body is slightly confused, but it can get the hell over it.  

On the political front, I am amused as hell by the return of Herman Cain from the political wilderness.  Granted, he is actually being worked up for a position which he is actually qualified for this time.  He been on the Board of Regional feds and I think that he has even been a regional fed chair,  he was/is a successful businessman.  He ain't stupid.

But the literati that infest the left and the resistance are having a hissy fit.  I think that they are stilled pissed off at him and the Republican party for daring to suggest that there can be non-liberal, non-democrat blacks.  I like the guy, because he proudly wears the mantle of capitalist bullshit director and says "fuck you" out loud to those who feel that they are the only legitimate voice for anyone with an appreciable quantity of melatonin in their skin.

What I remember is his commercial, with the redneck white guy smoking a cigarette.  The liberals had a cow on this one.  I didn't particularly see a problem, but this broke the image of all political folks furtively hiding their vices in public.  Barack smoked, but hid it so it is cool.
