Made it through another week. Coming to the conclusion that I have to restart self-discipline and get back to losing weight. I am not going to step on a scale for another couple of weeks and just try to get my weight down to where I am mildly disappointed with myself before I start doing the monitor.
I do blame the Rona for all this. It isn't precisely true, but close enough. Mitigation is important to mental health and self-forgiveness.
I think that I have decided not to move back to Vantucky. I just really don't want to live there again. As a town, it is just kinda creepy. I won't stay in Stumptown past my retirement, but I am not going back to the land of pickups and Q'anon.
So I am back to riding the storm out here. Overall not a bad place to do it. I think that I am ensconced enough in job and habitat to last out here pretty snugly. Since the initial option (read here: the easy option) was rejected, I can take a bit of time to study the next option.
Now: Onto politics and controversy.
In a lot of senses, I think that the Dem's made a mistake with Kamala. Really bad one. She brings nothing electoral to the ticket. Being a true-blue Californian, her hometown vote was going to Biden anyway so she brought nothing to the ticket. Where Biden needs help in the midwest, where the bitch lost in 2016 (and don't think for a moment that Trumpwad won the midwest in 2016, a more correct statement is that Hillary lost it).
So, we now have four botox grifters at the head of the ballot. Kamala and Pence seem to be comparable. Biden and Trumpwad weem to be comparable.
What a fucking mess.
