Anything close up looks pretty cool

It's cold outside today, I'm getting a little worried about the cold/rain combo which turns the place into a skating rink and keeps me inside. But seeing as I have in no way, shape, or form any input on this issue, I will just get out while I can and hope for the best.

I got mail from a friend that reeled me back into thinking on philosophy.  Now, just so that folks understand, this is not a subject that I am fully comfortable with, but which I try to at least be cognizant of the underpinnings.  It does help with things like figuring out why I am so fucked up and maybe understanding the paths that I could have taken to to avoid the inner conflicts that I have now.

I suppose that I have come to the place where "you dance with who brung you".   When I spend time on working out the incorrect way that I approach things, it always ends up being an empty kind of thing, because my set of flawed processes that truthfully, I have to admit to myself that I am stuck with are confronted with the idea that I could have done it better, but didn't.
