We have to thank that sleazy fuckhead Mitt Romney for giving us such a great clue as to the form of the external proletariat. The 47%.

This is the primary voting bloc that the Democratic party is trying to capture. Look, the elite of the party could really give a fuck less about them, they are just working to buy votes with worthless words and propositions that have no chance of passing. These folks are the folks that the “globalized” economy chewed up and spit out. They are usually non-white or urban white. Education is considered a way out, but education can’t fix the awkward problem of being on the left side of the IQ curve. They were the inner city minority working class back when such a thing existed. If you want to see the effects of their abandonment, all one has to do is take a tour of Detroit.

Right now, their militant arm is ANTIFA. Now, truth be told, I have no use for ANTIFA. They are as real a problem as the bands of right-wing thugs that have always roamed the cities and countryside, looking for someone to put down so that they can be certain that they aren’t on the bottom of the barrel, but instead they hope to occupy the next layer up.

Like the internal proletariat, the external is getting pissed off. The party leadership elite are actively whipping them up. Nancy Pelosi is using the immigration issue to enhance the recruiting drives to benefit and prolong her sinecure. Donald Trump is taking the other side, knowing that dilution will decrease the ability of his wealthy friends to make money without responsibility.

I think that the external proletariat is arousing itself from it’s slumber. I will be more than a little curious as to the organizing abilities of Bernie and AOC and the new wave to break free from the financial oppression of the Pelosi-ites and begin to organize the fight along class lines.

The strengths of the external proletariat are:

  • There are a shitload of them.

  • They are a raw feedstock, a charismatic leader can mold them (I think that this will go in both the strength and weakness category. But for this subheading, I will posit this as a plus.

  • They are nominally more accepting of variability of opinion, but it is a VERY close run thing.

The weaknesses of the external proletariat are:

  • They are feeling oppressed and are beginning to lash out blindly.

  • They appear to be more susceptible to mass-media control.

  • They usually aren't that well educated, so their intelligence (and they are as smart as any group) is somewhat constrained by fads and fashion.

So: this is one side of the prole equation. This is the sword taken up by the Democrats.
