Going in today for the jab. VA finally rolled out the J&J vaccine and I am there on the first day. I think that it is about the best option available, it might even be as good/safe as the flu vaccine and I get that every year.
I really don’t trust the mRNA “vaccine” technology one little bit. If you catch me in my cups and ask me, I will spout off a whole series of low probability “what-ifs” that taken together probably make as much sense as any other conspiracy theory, but they you are.
But I am asking everyone who drops by to think about vaccines in their true light.
Risk Management.
That is all they are, that is all they will ever be. Every time you let someone squirt an mL or so of something into your arm you are taking a risk. The benefits of that action may vastly outweigh the risk involved, but the underlying risk is always there. I don’t see that the risks of the mRNA have sufficient data to support the benefit claims being bandied about.
There is enough data out there on the use of adenovirus as a vector that I am pretty comfortable with them. Their risks aren’t going to change that much by splicing in a wee bit of DNA into a big double-strand virus that has negligible health impact.
So, I am taking the whole day off, getting the jab, going to lunch at my favorite bar with the eldest, and then spending the rest of the day loafing. Sky is blue, gonna be about sixty. Gonna be a good day.
sounds like a plan
