Eagles/Chiefs

Temp is pushing 40 F. already, no wind to speak of and the clouds are high and it doesn't look like rain.  Barometer keeps oozing upwards, today is around 30.5.

I think that today is going to be a "what, me worry?" kind of day.  I am just going to be a good 'Murcan and overeat and put the football season to bed until next October/November.  I can't say that I am a fan of either team, but it may turn out to be a decent game, and not really caring who wins just means I can enjoy the athleticism. 

I do recommend watching.  It is a fun sport when you take away all the capitalist trappings, and I have been doing this for a long time now and I am sick of people sneering and looking down at the game itself.  I watched Alan Ameche in 1958, it has been a part of my life for a long time, and whether you like it or not, sneer as you wish, it is a part of our culture.
