Harlem Renaissance (New Negro Movement) / Horace Pippin/ Harmonizing

Got the happy lamp running and pointed at my head.  Got vitamin D on board and I overall feel sleepy but not too attached to the worlds problems.  I suppose that this means that I am in a good place.

Did some odd things this weekend, stayed home and washed clothes and moved around furniture.  Yep, I realize that it doesn’t sound like much, but it eased my mind a great deal and opened up the room considerably.  I will probably keep the couch after all for the infrequent guests, but now I have sufficient room for the folding camp furniture that constitutes my perch during those times I watch football.  Being directors chairs, they do keep my butt above my knees which is a blessed thing for a old beat up man.

Low lift, high drag week at work.  I am keeping to myself and doing my job, but I am really, truly trying to minimize interactions and keeping in my lane and letting the drama run without my having the role as critic.  Not my circus, not my monkey will be my mantra as much as possible.

Gonna spend two days this week doing home care for an old friend.  Duty calls, and much of the process requires sitting around.  Gonna take the chromebook and get some writing done during the downtime.  Seeing as this duty is a 24 hour shift (you get to sleep in a bed that isn’t your own), this should allow for a big essay sometime this week.  Now all I have to come up with is a subject for the rant.
