Circumnavigation

Getting there.
I think that I am getting ready to unceremoniously dump some carbon into the air pretty soon. I figure that I am going to print out some resumes and wander around the wilds of Eastern Oregon and maybe Eastern Washington and drop them off to investigate the possibility that there are folks out there who have use of skills such as mine.
I am thinking about a circumnavigation of Oregon. Need a small tent, a cot, and a good sleeping bag and take time to sort out the back of the Van and make it fit for travel.
I figure to bring a Kindle and my old clunker laptop and report from the road. I’ll eat breakfast in the morning in small town diners and upload the previous day’s report. I think that I will need to acquire about ten CD’s for the road and to keep in the van on a permanent basis for the days where raising atmospheric CO2 seems like a good idea (BTW I work hard at making these infrequent).
I am thinking that I got to leave Portland. I can’t imagine that this town is going to get better anytime soon. I have time and I have found that rushed decisions are nearly always poor decisions. But I have to start somewhere.
