I have a strange habit.  I always read the same book twice before I put it aside.  Doesn’t matter what kind of book it is; fiction or non-fiction, if I finish it, it immediately gets read again.  As an aside before I move onto the core of this piece, I think this habit reflects on how I think about things.  Even simple, scripted writings and occurrences require two or three looks.  Sometimes more.

I think that my writings here are the way that I process a lot of these inputs.  A lot of what I write is inconsistent with what I have written before.  It has to be.  Fitting new data into a hypothesis is dicey work at the best of times.
