Well, I am not looking forward to this next part if it goes the way that it is looking to go.

Seems to be that the deep state and Fauci might have ‘splainin’ to do.  I really don’t want to detail things here.  But the issues that pissed off a lot of my friends about my attitudes and thoughts about the Rona seem to be coming true.

Now, you might ask why I am not looking forward to this.  That is because of human nature my friend.  For the past year the general population has been fed a line of bullshit by a bunch of bureaucrats posing as doctors and scientists.  

This is going to piss people off.  I am thinking that the supposed doctors and scientists in question will go full Clinton on us, working hard to twist words to deflect any whiff of pitchforks and torches, and a lot of folks will cling to what the malefactors say as a means of convincing themselves that they weren’t actually stupid.

Nobody likes being the fool.  Everybody takes a turn at it.  This time here a lot of folks bought into the meme and ran with it.  Usually shrieking.  

But it will be interesting to see just how badly this was fucked up by the powers that be.  I will watch attentively, but will keep my mouth shut.  Because if this kind of thing breaks, a lot of stuff will break loose.  Basic questions that we now have the time and data to answer.

1.  Exactly how many people were actually infected?  The number of cycles used in the PCR test that was used is in serious question.  It has been pretty firmly established that cycle counts greater than 30 are pretty much useless.  How many people in John Hopkins pretty graphs were actually infected?

2. Why were effective and simple prophylaxis and treatment explored more aggressively?  There is a lot of data out there that shows vitamin D supplements and off-label treatments using generic drugs do have a place.  

3. Masking and social distancing is a hotbox of claims and counterclaims.  That needs to be resolved. (BTW, this one here is the least urgent)

4. Hard mortality data needs to be put out front and publicly discussed in a rational manner.  The data seems to show that the great majority of deaths were folks who “had one foot on the banana peel”.  What was the actual excess mortality?

5. What should be the role of the biowarfare research that the narrative now quaintly refers to as “gain of function”?

I think that we, as a country and as a species needs to calm the fuck down and spend a lot of time developing the questions that need to be asked.  The data must be ruthlessly backed up and preserved.  Fingers need to be pointed and due process must be followed.  

There are a whole bunch of answers that need to be provided.  This was a monumental mess and it appears to me that there are culpable individuals out there.

I wouldn’t want to touch this with a ten foot pole.  It is going to get nasty and I am an old man without the energy to do it right.  The process will destroy a lot of people and might be the catalyst that will topple a republic.  I can’t say as any of the outcomes are going to be good.

The next thing you know, the world includes biology, physics, and chemistry, and biological, nuclear, and chemical weapons of mass destruction (WMD) … and the future survival of the flower depends on the success of a strategy called Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD).

If the answer to the question, “how did it come into being?” were to be: by magic, what the answer suggests, is: stop being so fucking curious. The problem, as you hint, is that in our culture, such an uncurious person is considered dumb.

I hope that you can figure out something amazing that might help industrialized mankind change its ways - and are able to do so fairly quickly. The furthest I can get, is the realization that there is unlikely to be a folly greater than mankind anywhere in the universe. This is a comforting thought, but not helpful to others. If two people are watching a play, and one thinks it is a tragedy and the other thinks it is a comedy, it does not help the sad one that the other one is upbeat. Hopefully, you can exceed my results on the path you are taking.
