I am advertising blatantly here. My favorite live show for the past two years has been the Portland Cello Project. Every time they play here in stumptown I make an effort to get ticket and enjoy. They are doing a free live-stream show this evening. So I would recommend strongly setting you butt down around 17:30, eat a gummi, pour a glass of wine and enjoy

I have tried not to think about it too much, but one of the worst things about the Rona is fact that my social goings-out usually rotate around live music. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a bluegrass festival this summer when Rona hit and just fucked everything up. I already had my tickets to the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland and was thinking seriously about forcing my presence upon friends to attend the WInthrop Festival.
I am going to sit down and think further about the trajectory of my existence. I have the time..
Whether or not I like the concept, I am in the top 1% of the world in terms of "stuff" measured by money. Now, local phenomenon have made it seem that I am I am at the median, but that just ain't true. In the words of the song listed below, "shopping malls and prison walls all look the same to me". So I will spend the day counting my blessings and the chains that they bring with them.
