Going to play a little bit of hooky today, I am figuring to take off around 13:30 and head to have bevvies with an old friend,  Sure sounds good to me.

Things are getting to the point where I will have to buckle down even tighter than what I have done thus far.  I am thinking that that I amy have to spend quite a bit of time with a spreadsheet starting in February.  Got a row to hoe, and the means to do so, just have to make the plan good.  I realized yesterday that I didn't have to go through to the end of 2020, I can bail three months earlier at the end of September.  33 months.  I can do that easy.

Screed:

Well, I'll be curious how this works.  Like it or not, Trumpy's hit order may well not have the intended results  (Imagine that).  I find it curious that the media has been so muted, perhaps they have realized that the drones strike strategy has run it's course and maybe the Iranians were calling a poorly played bluff.

Things might go a bit dicey now.  I am waiting for how the expulsion order from the Iraqi Parliament plays out.  I am waiting to see how the reformation of the Mahdi Army plays out.  I am waiting to see how Trump reacts.

I'll be curious

A combustable combo

Either you are at war or not. If so, killing a general makes sense because the plan is to kill everybody until they give up.

If no war, then the only way killing an individual makes sense, is if there is nobody that could possibly replace them in terms their ability to cause trouble. The replacement for this guy will less famous, but they will be smarter and probably better at causing trouble, especially now. The guy killed was like John Bolton if Bolton was brave enough to be involved in action. He liked violent approaches and he was almost always wrong.

If the story is about some imminent attack, now there is still the already planned attack and many more new ones to come. When do we attack the initial already planned imminent threat itself, or are we just waiting for it to happen? I think that we could not attack the threat itself, because there was none. Why doesn't someone ask Pompeo how an already planned the attack was stopped by killing the planner?

Besides politics, I think there are two explanations for the dead general. First, the commander’s previous job was being a personality on a reality TV show, and second, mental illness.

In question form

If the enemy kills your leader, even if he was a dumb shit, what are the odds that a person who proposes to be nicer and more fair to the enemy than the dead leader was, will be selected to replace the dead leader?

The answer is that it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t matter to a reality show personality who is mentally ill.
