Decoration Day.  Not even sure what that means anymore.  Not certain that I really care.

I don’t think that it really applies anymore.  It is more a “go” signal to capitalists to have a sale to get rid of excess stock coupled with a reason to have a barbeque.  Can’t really say that is a downgrade or an improvement on the old system.  Can’t say as I care.

Trying to figure out what I will be doing today.  I can always head over Vantucky way and hang out with the boyos, but I can’t seem to work up any ambition to drag my ass into a car and drive.  Sorry boyos, but that is the way that I am rolling today.  

My overall outlook is gloomy but I am personally in a pretty good place.  I am at sixteen months remaining (I know that I talk about this a lot lately, but I am trying to get my mind around it) and the path is clear.  I do have to work harder at living below my means and cutting out the unnecessary.  I have decided that pork is necessary.
