I suppose that I am just coming out of the winter funk. Lots of rain and dreariness this year, so the more frequent arrival of sunny days is more than welcome.

The most unwelcome arrival of this past winter is an extra fifteen pounds of laziness and overeating. It looks as though I will need to spend until mid-June to even get back to the point before my retirement. Such is life.

I suppose that I obsessed a little bit about the whole Ukrainian mess. I am hoping that we dodged a bit of a bullet and will come to our senses. For a while there, I was rating the possibility of us getting directly involved as >50%. But as time goes by, I am decreasing that number. A lot of this is simply hope, but that is where I am at right now. I can’t do a damn thing about it and so I am trying to just live my life in ignorance.
